Conway City Council Approves Entertainment District & Launches at Conway Art Walk
In December of 2024, Conway City Council voted to approve the creation of an Entertainment District in the city’s historic downtown center. By designating a specific zone where the public consumption of alcohol is permitted, the city of Conway intended to activate more of the downtown district with events that attract residents and tourists alike. In March of 2025, Create Conway, in partnership with Rogue Roundabout, launched the first Entertainment District event with the season kick-off for Conway Art Walk. For the first time, Conway Art Walk attendees were able to receive a wristband and alcoholic beverage from Rogue Roundabout, and then carry their drink throughout the Conway Art Walk festival grounds.
Special flags erected by the City of Conway designated the Entertainment District boundary and custom branded cups were used for the beverages. The new Entertainment District allows Conway Art Walk visitors to sip while they shop.
