Painting the Arkansas Parks Opening Reception at The Windgate Museum of Art at Hendrix College

A juried exhibition featuring paintings by members of the Heart of America Artists’ Association. Twenty-five artists are represented in the exhibition, each contributing a plein air study painted on-site at one of seven selected parks, accompanied by a larger studio painting inspired by that original study. Opening reception with guest speaker: Kayla Gomance, Deputy Chief of Interpretive Program Services, Arkansas State Parks, is scheduled for February 20, from 5 to 7 p.m.
