Conway Art Walk Returns to Downtown Conway Friday, July 4th 2025
Conway Art Walk returns to downtown Conway this week. Coordinated by Create Conway, Conway Art Walk transforms downtown into an arts and entertainment festival with live music, food trucks, and interactive art experiences. This event will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 5-8 pm. Chestnut Street, between Oak and Van Ronkle and from Oak to Main Street, will be closed to traffic to create the “Creative Cove,” a pedestrian zone where the public can participate in a variety of free, hands-on activities that offer something for all ages.
This month’s events will include (but are not limited to):
5:00-6:00 pm: Creative Cove Splash Zone
Cool off with Miss Splash, Create Conway’s Splash Zone ambassador!
5:00-8:00 pm: Fan painting with Tiger Designs by Linda
Creative Cove- Chestnut Street
Central Arkansas artist Linda Morriss will lead a fan painting activity for kids of all ages. Get creative and stay cool with a custom painted fan.
5:00-8:00 pm: Purple Cow Ice Cream + Meet Polly the Cow
Creative Cove- Chestnut Street
Purple Cow will be giving away delicious treats. While you’re there, take your picture with Polly the Purple Cow.
5:00-8:00 pm: Glow Wall with Windgate Museum at Hendrix College

Step inside the dark room and take your photo in front of the Glow Wall. Watch as your shadow is frozen in place like magic!

Conway Art Walk and its regional community partners are making a lasting impact on the community, attracting visitors, supporting local businesses, and creating valuable opportunities for artists and creative entrepreneurs. Typical Art Walks attract visitors from 44 different zip codes, involve more than 60 participating artists and musicians, and create an estimated economic impact of $200,000 for local businesses and the community.
